Credentials

Learning never stops — especially for someone whose job is to design it. This page reflects both what I have accomplished and what I am actively pursuing. Every credential here represents a deliberate investment in becoming a more effective, more versatile learning professional.

Certificates & Professional Training

LETRS — Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling

One of the most rigorous professional certifications in literacy education, LETRS provided deep training in the science of reading — covering phonology, decoding, language comprehension, and evidence-based instructional design. Completing both volumes represents over 160 hours of professional learning and demonstrates a research-grounded approach to how people acquire and process language.

AI Fundamentals — Claude & Anthropic

Completed on my own initiative outside of any job requirement, this course builds practical fluency in AI tools and their application to learning design. As AI continues to reshape how organizations train and develop their teams, I am committed to staying ahead of the curve — not just as a user of these tools, but as someone who understands how to integrate them strategically into learning programs.

Explore Learning Grant Recipient — Frax & Reflex

Competitively awarded grant to implement Frax and Reflex — AI-powered math learning platforms — across my grade level. Grant recipients are selected based on instructional vision, technology readiness, and commitment to measurable outcomes. This award resulted in a record-breaking grade-level math EOG pass rate of 56 percent, up from 41 percent the prior year.

Standards-Based Instructional Design

This training focused on translating complex learning standards into clear, accessible instruction for diverse learners — a skill that maps directly to corporate training, where dense policy, compliance, or technical content must be made understandable for a broad workforce. Completing this training strengthened my ability to design learning experiences that meet rigorous standards without losing the learner along the way.

Instructional Design Certificate (Coming Soon)
